The Canberra Bonsai Society (CBS) hosts several Shows/Exhibitions each year, including:

• a CBS exhibition where club members invite the public to view their favourite trees. It is a two-day event held in October each year.
• an Australian Plants as Bonsai exhibition (APaB) where members display bonsai created from Australian native plants. This two-day exhibition is usually held annually in February. Every second year there may be a seminar to accompany the exhibition. The seminar examines horticulture and design consideration to growing Australian plants as bonsai.
• As a club, we have been selected from time to time to host the National Convention in partnership with the Australian Bonsai Club Ltd. The last convention the CBS hosted was in 2013.
